Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery
Course Name: Diploma in nursing Science and Midwifery
Course Duration: 3 Years
Eligibility of admission for students
The applicant who meets the following criteria will be eligible to enter into the Diploma in nursing Science and Midwifery course.
- The applicant must be the citizen of Bangladesh.
- The applicants have to be passed both SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations from any group in total GPA 6.00 with at least GPA 2.50 either SSC or HSC or equivalent examination.
- The applicant should apply within 02 (two) years of passing HSC or equivalent Examination following SSC or equivalent examination as continual.
- Applicant must be seated for the admission test examination arranged by BNC and have to get at least 40% marks for get admission in any College/Institutes.
- Student Registration:
Students have to be registered after admission as per BNMC rules and regulation.
- Medical Fitness:
Successful candidate must be performed medical fitness check-up before admission.
Note: College Admission Committee will reserve all the right to take any decision.
Diploma in Midwifery
Course Name: Diploma in Midwifery
Course Duration: 3 Years
Eligibility of admission for students
The applicant who meets the following criteria will be eligible to enter into the Diploma in Midwifery course.
- The applicant must be the citizen of Bangladesh.
- The applicants have to be passed both SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations from any group in total GPA 6.00 with at least GPA 2.50 either SSC or HSC or equivalent examination.

Basic BSc in Nursing
Name of the Course: B.Sc in nursing
Course Duration: 4 Years
The applicant who meets the following criteria will be eligible to enter into the B.Sc in nursing course.
Eligibility of admission for students
- The applicant must be the citizen of Bangladesh.
- The applicants have to be passed both SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations from Science group with at least GPA 3.00 in Biology.
- The applicants must need Total GPA (both SSC & HSC) or equivalent examinations in total 7.00 but not less than CGPA 3.00 in either SSC or HSC examination.
- The applicant should apply within 02 (Two) years of passing HSC or equivalent Examination following SSC or equivalent examination as continual.
- Applicant must be seated for the admission test examination arranged by BNMC and have to get at least 40% marks for get admission in any College/Institutes.
BSc in Post Basic Nursing
Name of the Course: Post Basic BSc in Nursing
Student Registration: A student has to be registered after admission as per BNC and University rules and regulations.
Eligibility criteria for admission: The applicant who meets the following criteria will be eligible to enter into the Post Basic BSc in Nursing program.
Entry Qualification:
- The candidate must have passed Diploma in Nursing, Diploma in Midwifery/ Orthopaedics od Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery any educational institute approved/ affiliated by Bangladesh Nursing Council.
- Staff registration must be updated by Bangladesh Nursing Council.
- Graduate of the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery program with a transcript indicating GPA no less than 2.00.
- In case of government job holder candidate, they should have at least 02 years job experience. on the other hand, job experience is relaxed for non-government candidate.
- Applicant must be seated for the admission test examination arranged by BNC and have to get at least 40% marks for get admission in any College/Institutes.
